Departure from USA / Arrival in Poland / Warsaw

Spiritual intention: Gratitude for the beginning and a heart open to grace.

Daily plan

  • Gather at John F. Kennedy International Airport 3.5 hours before departure.
  • Flight to Poland at 10:35 PM and arrival at Warsaw Chopin Airport at 1:00 PM.
  • Transfer to the hotel in Warsaw, check-in, rest after travel.
  • Ceremonial welcome dinner.
  • Evening Mass at St. Anne’s Church and walk through Krakowskie Przedmieście, Old Town Market Square, and St. John’s Cathedral.
Why this place mattersWarsaw is a city of resurrection: nearly destroyed after World War II, it was rebuilt as a sign of memory, strength, and national continuity. The Old Town and Krakowskie Przedmieście offer the first encounter with the spiritual and historic heart of the capital.

Spiritual intention: Courage, faithfulness, and prayer for Poland and families.

Why this place mattersSt. Andrew Bobola, Jesuit and martyr, was canonized in 1938. His relics were brought to Warsaw’s Rakowiecka Street, and his devotion became a sign of faithfulness in times of violence and spiritual division. The Uprising Museum reminds us that freedom requires sacrifice.
What it gives the soulThis is a day of courage. Faith is not an escape from history, but a force that helps a person stand upright when everything collapses.

St. Maximilian Kolbe • Niepokalanów • Toruń in the footsteps of Copernicus

Niepokalanów – Toruń

Spiritual intention: Entrustment to Mary and love greater than fear.

  • Holy Mass at the place founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe.
  • Visit the basilica and chapel of St. Maximilian.
  • Transfer to Toruń and hotel check-in.
  • Ceremonial dinner and evening walk through the Old Town in the footsteps of Nicolaus Copernicus.
Why this place mattersNiepokalanów was founded in 1927 by St. Maximilian Kolbe as the “City of the Immaculata.” Before World War II it became one of the largest Franciscan and publishing centers. Kolbe gave his life in Auschwitz for another prisoner, becoming a sign of love greater than fear.
What it gives the soulNiepokalanów teaches sacrifice, courage, and total entrustment. Toruń opens another perspective: faith and reason do not have to fight; together they can lead a person toward truth.

New Evangelization Shrine • Radio Maryja • Włocławek dam • Jasna Góra

Toruń – Włocławek – Częstochowa

Spiritual intention: Truth, inner freedom, and courage of conscience.

Daily plan

  • Shrine of Our Lady Star of the New Evangelization: visit, Rosary, Holy Mass, Marian Way, and meeting with the custodian.
  • Radio Maryja and participation in the Chaplet prayer broadcast.
  • Transfer to Włocławek and prayer at the dam — site connected with the martyrdom of Blessed Fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko.
  • Arrival at Jasna Góra, prayer, and the Jasna Góra Appeal.
  • Check-in at the Pilgrim House, late dinner, overnight.
Why this place mattersToruń’s Old Town is a UNESCO-listed medieval urban treasure. Włocławek recalls the martyrdom of Blessed Fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko, priest of Solidarity, murdered in 1984 by agents of the communist security apparatus. Jasna Góra is the spiritual heart of Poland.
What it gives the soulThis day leads from Rosary prayer to the witness of martyrdom and finally under the mantle of Our Lady. It teaches that truth has a cost, but also the power to liberate.

Jasna Góra – Wieliczka / Kraków

Spiritual intention: Entrusting families and the future to Our Lady.

Daily plan

  • Stations of the Cross on the Jasna Góra ramparts.
  • Holy Mass in the Chapel of the Miraculous Icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa.
  • Departure toward Kraków; arrival in Wieliczka and check-in.
  • Lunch, then transfer to Wawel Hill and visit.
  • Walk through Kraków Old Town: Main Market Square, St. Mary’s Basilica, Cloth Hall.
Why this place mattersThe icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa is one of the most important signs of Polish devotion. The 1655 defense of Jasna Góra during the Swedish Deluge became a symbol of national spiritual mobilization. Wawel recalls the royal and Christian continuity of Polish statehood.
What it gives the soulJasna Góra orders the heart through entrustment; Kraków shows that faith builds culture, art, and statehood. One begins to see personal life as part of a larger story.

Salt Mine • Chapels carved in salt • Divine Mercy Sanctuary

Wieliczka – Łagiewniki

Spiritual intention: Mercy, forgiveness, and trust in God.

  • Breakfast and walk to the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
  • Visit underground corridors, chambers, and chapels carved in salt.
  • Transfer to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Łagiewniki.
  • Holy Mass, prayer before the image of Merciful Jesus, and visit places connected with St. Faustina.
  • Return to hotel, dinner, free time.
Why this place mattersWieliczka is a place of labor, prayer, and beauty hidden underground; the mine operated since the Middle Ages and is on the UNESCO list. Łagiewniki is the world center of Divine Mercy devotion — the place of St. Faustina, from which the message of Mercy spread throughout the world.
What it gives the soulWieliczka teaches humility: light can be born even underground. Łagiewniki touches the heart with one sentence: Jesus, I trust in You. This is a day of healing from fear and guilt.

Wadowice – Zakopane

Spiritual intention: Prayer for family, vocation, and courage to be oneself.

Daily plan

  • Departure to Wadowice — birthplace of St. John Paul II.
  • Visit the town in the footsteps of the Polish Pope.
  • Transfer to Zakopane and walk along Krupówki.
  • Visit Pęksowy Brzyzek Cemetery and ride up Gubałówka.
  • Regional dinner and Holy Mass at the Fatima Sanctuary in Krzeptówki.
Why this place mattersWadowice is the birthplace of Karol Wojtyła, later Pope John Paul II — a pope who helped Poles regain spiritual courage under communism. Krzeptówki is connected with gratitude for the Pope’s survival after the assassination attempt of May 13, 1981.
What it gives the soulThis day reminds us that holiness grows out of an ordinary home, ordinary streets, and daily choices. The mountains give breath and allow one to see life from a higher perspective.

Spiritual intention: Healing of fatigue, peace of heart, and unity in families.

Why this place mattersStrachocina is connected with the devotion to St. Andrew Bobola and the memory of his family roots. In Polish spirituality, Bobola is a sign of fidelity to the end, patron of unity and defense of faith in times of fragmentation.
What it gives the soulAfter intense days, the body also needs rest. The thermal baths help restore harmony; Strachocina reminds us that peace is not weakness — true peace requires courage.

Opatów – Kielce

Spiritual intention: Honor, service, and courage to speak the truth.

  • Visit St. Martin Collegiate Church and Holy Mass.
  • Museum visit, screening of “Wyklęty,” and meeting with director Konrad Łęcki.
  • Transfer to Kielce and check-in at the Karczówka Monastery.
  • Dinner and integration meeting.
Why this place mattersSt. Martin Collegiate Church in Opatów is among Poland’s most valuable Romanesque monuments, dating to the 12th century. Tradition connects the place with medieval knightly and crusading imagination. The film meeting adds a modern dimension of memory about the struggle for freedom.
What it gives the soulOpatów teaches fidelity to memory. It is not only romantic knightly history, but the question: what do I serve? Karczówka gives evening stillness and community.

Spiritual intention: Offering to God the burdens, wounds, and crosses of life.

  • Holy Mass and visit to the shrine with relics of the Wood of the Holy Cross.

Why this place mattersŚwięty Krzyż is one of Poland’s oldest pilgrimage sites. Tradition connects the monastery with relics of the Wood of the Holy Cross, which for centuries drew pilgrims, kings, and seekers of spiritual strength.
What it gives the soulThis is a day of meeting the mystery of the Cross: suffering does not have to be meaningless. It can become a place of offering, transformation, and greater love.

Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre • Cistercian Abbey • pilgrimage closing

Miechów – Jędrzejów

Spiritual intention: A new beginning and spiritual resurrection.

Daily plan

  • Breakfast and transfer to Miechów.
  • Visit the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre and Holy Mass.
  • Transfer to Jędrzejów and visit the Cistercian Abbey.
  • Ceremonial dinner, participants’ gathering, and closing of the pilgrimage.
Why this place mattersMiechów is sometimes called the Polish Jerusalem. In the 12th century, the Order of the Holy Sepulchre was brought here, and the basilica preserves one of Europe’s oldest replicas of the Holy Sepulchre. Jędrzejów recalls Cistercian spirituality: prayer, work, simplicity, and order.
What it gives the soulAfter the whole journey, the pilgrim stands symbolically at the Lord’s Tomb — to leave the old behind and step toward resurrection: a new life, new decisions, and peace.

Warsaw – New York

Spiritual intention: Gratitude for the fruits of the pilgrimage and perseverance after returning home.

Daily plan

  • Breakfast.
  • Closing Holy Mass.
  • Transfer to Warsaw Chopin Airport.
  • Baggage and passport check-in.
  • Departure to the USA at 4:50 PM and arrival at JFK at 8:35 PM.
Why this place mattersThe return to Warsaw closes the road: from the capital, through sanctuaries, mountains, monasteries, and places of martyrdom, back to the starting point. But the person does not return the same.
What it gives the soulThe final day is not an ending. It is a sending: to carry peace, faith, and memory home — into family, work, and daily life.
